Council To Consider Jarvis School Redevelopment Plans
Parish Councillors will meet on Monday 12th January 2026 to consider planning applications have been lodged which could see flats and houses developed at the former Jarvis School building, Staunton on Wye.

Members of the public are welcomed to an extraordinary meeting of Staunton on Wye Group Parish Council to discuss plans for the former Jarvis School.
Planning applications have been lodged for 20 flats in the Grade II-listed building, and 28 new build homesĀ on the adjacent site.
The site already has planning permission for the conversion of the old school building into 15 flats and the construction of a 70-bed care home.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday 12th January 2026 at Staunton on Wye Village Hall.
